We are learning about media and the different types we use like your phone, your laptop, PS4, and T.V. We created a slide about which type of media we use the mot. I found it easy to insert my background. I found it tricky to fins a controller that looked right and had no background.

Mary Mackillop

Mary MacKillop.

She was born in 1842 on January 15th. She cared about the poor. Mary was poor because her dad did not have not that much money.  They were a poor family. She was raised in Australia. She was a nun. She was a teacher and gave some candy to kids from her big pockets.  On August 8th 1909 she died.

Winter

We are learning to use describing words. I liked describing the fog. I found it tricky to get it finished in time because it was hard figuring out words.

Outside, trees are covered in snow. The leaves are cold almost solid like a rock. The gray sky is foggy with snow falling down from the sky. It is calm and still like a tree stump. The bird was trying to get back to its nest. First the bird feathers were covered in snow. The bird fell to the ground then suddenly it was to foggy for the bird to see. Then he got back up and the snow stopped. The bird flew all the way up and got to it nest. And is that winter.

Lemon Powered Clock

We are learning to do science investigations.
I enjoyed making the Lemon Powered Clock.
I found it challenging to make the whole entire thing with my group because we argued a lot.

Mother Teresa

We are learning about Saints in class.
I enjoyed reading about Mother Teresa.
I found it challenging to put it in my own words.


Mother Teresa.
Mother Teresa was born on 26th August 1910 in Skopje in Kosovo.
At 12 she knew God would help her be a nun. God talked to her. She left her family at 18 to be a nun.
She helped the poor children and helped people less fortunate.
Mother Teresa went to Ireland and then to India. She was a teacher to the poorest girls in India. She learnt two new languages to help teach.  Mother Teresa started a school for girls. She wanted the girls to have a good life and to learn.
Mother Teresa helped the sick children. She started her first charity in 1982. She opened a home called “Gift of love” for sick people in 1971.
God She died of  congestive heart failure.
Mother Teresa was the kindest saint ever.
